XANT Hires Brent Peters to Strengthen Executive Team

(Nasdaq:EBAY) company, Brent Peters, to its executive team in the role of senior vice president of engineering. This announcement comes at a time when the company is growing exponentially and subsequently scaling its infrastructure. Coinciding with the launch of a new data center on the east coast of the U.S., XANT is doubling the capacity of its platform to better serve the growing needs of today’s largest enterprises.

Peters brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in software development and a proven track record for engineering leadership, delivering high quality enterprise-grade platforms and solutions. He joins the company from eBay Enterprise, where he served as chief technology officer, responsible for developing the company’s commerce platform and driving product innovation, including mobile technologies and partner assets. Prior to eBay Enterprise, Brent held a number of roles over the course of a two-decade career with IBM, leading organizations such as WebSphere, Lotus and IBM GTS, where he was responsible for the development of IBM Smartcloud Enterprise+.

As senior vice president of engineering, Peters is tasked with enhancing XANT’s industry-leading sales acceleration platform, powered by Neuralytics™, to better serve the company’s growing pool of enterprise customers. He will relocate to Utah’s Silicon Slopes to take on this role, joining a rising number of distinguished Silicon Valley transplants eager to join the region’s thriving technology scene.

This announcement comes on the heels of the addition of industry veteran Jim Steele, former chief customer officer at Salesforce, to XANT’s executive team as the company’s new president of worldwide sales and chief customer officer. Other seasoned executives added to the team this year include leadership from Citrix (Mick Hollison, CMO), McAfee and VMware (Todd Riesterer, SVP, talent acceleration) and Backcountry.com (Kevin Samuelson, CFO).

2014 has been an incredible year of growth for the company, as it approaches a fourth consecutive year of 100 percent revenue expansion.
